GOALS AND VISION:

I believe that the creative process can be used to do more than just sell products; executed at its highest level, it can build beneficial connections with customers and foster long-term relationships that profit all stakeholders. With a strong commitment to excellence and the willingness to put in the time and effort to achieve it, I would like to help build the team at a company that shares my vision. 

My skillset— a hybrid designer, strategist, ethnographer, and innovator with a background managing creative service teams and recently working as an innovation lead in an innovation/design thinking position has prepared me to excel in a creative leadership and customer experience role.

 

I am a seasoned creative director, with over 15 years in the industry, including the past 8 years in leadership positions. I recently pivoted my career from running creative departments to working in innovation. The combination of creative skills with customer experience and engagement has allowed me to deeply understand how to design experiences and products that resonate with an audience. I am currently working as a contractor with Cardinal Health as an innovation lead, and in this role, I research trends in the medical space, determine where gaps lie in the ecosystem (between payers, patients and providers), ideate solutions, validate through user experience and ethnographic research and bring the ideas to market through the Lean Innovation process.

 

I decided to pursue the role at Cardinal Health in order to learn experience design, design thinking and innovation via a hands-on year-long training opportunity. During my time at Cardinal Health, I was trained via IDEO in Design Thinking and the Lean Methodology while taking the lead on a variety of innovation and research projects. Combined with my extensive background in the creative space, I’ve honed my skillset to incorporate experience design into my approach to solving client problems with innovative solutions.

The ability to consult with clients from different industries and backgrounds has allowed me to easily migrate between a variety of industries including financial, insurance, real estate, medical and commercial products. I have a passion for learning new things and am committed to understanding the industry that I am working in thoroughly. I’ve successfully lead ideation sessions in order to understand clients’ needs, ideated concepts, validated assumptions, and crafted narratives that captured insights gleaned from client collaboration.

 

I am a natural storyteller, and my combination of curiosity and humility has allowed me to uncover insights, develop strategy, implement programs, and continuously improve in order to positively affect the ROI throughout the duration of projects. Beginning with my role at Cotton States Insurance, and throughout the rest of my career, I’ve used this unique combination of skills in order to empathize with customers and solve complex problems.
